The Queer Dude's Party is a monthly, mid-week play party at the Crucible that's by Queer Dudes, for Queer Dudes. Hosted by Alixzander, it's a place for Queer Dudes to mix, mingle, and play with other Queer Dudes. One Wednesday a month we take over 6,000 square feet of dungeon in Washington, DC and fill it with kinky queer energy: bondage, impact, leather, gear, pup play, fisting, edge play, and whatever else you and your partners negotiate.
Whether you're a seasoned player with a gear bag full of toys or a curious first-timer who's never set foot in a dungeon, you're welcome here. Cruise, flirt, meet, play. Nobody is ever obligated to do anything — hanging out in your harness at the cash bar is a completely valid way to spend the night.
This event is open to all Queer Dudes — cis, trans, non-binary, and more. Do you identify as a Queer Dude? Then this is the party for you.
The rules that keep the party hot and safe.
Attendees are expected to abide by all Crucible guidelines: the Rules, Code of Conduct, and Consent Policy and Consent Incident Policy. That includes never “repeatedly and intentionally mislabeling people of varying genders and orientations” or “degrading other people based on their body type, ability, race, ethnicity, country of origin, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, relationship status, religion, or spiritual path”.
Negotiate before you play. An enthusiastic yes is the only yes — from everyone involved, for every act. Consent can be withdrawn at any time, and "no" is a complete sentence. Consent violations get you removed and banned.
Phones stay put away in all play and social areas. No photography or recording, period. What happens at the party stays at the party — outing someone is a consent violation.
DMs are on the floor all night. They're there to keep scenes safe, answer questions, and step in if something's off. If you see something concerning, tell a DM — that's what they're for.
Leather, rubber, gear, jocks, harnesses, boots, or nothing much at all — dress for the party you want to have. Street clothes are just as welcome, if that's what makes you feel sexy. Changing space is available.
The bar is open — enjoy it. But you can't negotiate a scene you're too intoxicated to remember, and anyone visibly impaired will be asked to stop playing or to leave. No illegal substances on site.
Safer-sex supplies, gloves, and cleanup materials are stocked throughout the space. Clean equipment after your scene. Respect other people's scenes — watch from a respectful distance and never touch anyone or their gear without an invitation.
This event is 21+ with a cash bar, and identification is required at the entrance. The Crucible is a private membership club, so you must be a Member of the Crucible — or the Guest of a Member — to attend.

There are no steps to enter the Crucible or to get around inside the club, so it should be wheelchair-accessible. There is a short, very low ramp into the bathrooms, where one stall is larger and wheelchair-accessible.
